I-iECONS 2023 is a biennial conference organized by the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). It is an international platform for discussions and knowledge sharing covering current economics and muamalat issues and challenges under theme of “Sustainable Development through Innovative Economic Transformation”. The conference will take place in Saudi Arabia.
i-IECONS2023 will be held in two separate occasions to cater for dual modes of participations:
- Online Presentation (7 August 2023 – Monday) – Participants who join i-IECONS under Package D will present their papers through online Zoom application on this date. All other i-IECONS participants are also welcomed to join this online session. The timetable and links will be shared prior to the Online Presentation session.
- Physical Conference Day (14 August 2023) – Participants under Package A, B and C will join the physical presentations, keynote address and forum will be conducted on this date at Millennium Makkah Al Naseem Hotel, Makkah.

All abstracts will be published in conference proceedings with an eISBN. All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Only selected full papers will be indexed in Clarivate Analytics (WoS). The best paper award will be published in the Journal of Muamalat and Islamic Finance Research (JMIFR) (soon to be Scopus-indexed) and other Scopus journals.
